West Campus Open House

June 3 from 1-4 p.m.

Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families invites the public to visit its West Campus off Lake Eden Road in Black Mountain on Saturday, June 3 from 1-4 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the ministry’s newest facility serving as the heart of its soon to launch Apprenticeship Program helping to meet the needs of older youth in care.

Formerly a state 4-H Camp, West Campus will open to outside groups in coming months, providing hands-on work opportunities for older youth interested in learning jobs skills. The goal of the Apprenticeship Program is to provide youth with training and experience that will enable them to earn a living wage once they complete the program.
