The Minority Enterprise Development Committee of WNC released the following event schedule for the week of Sept. 8.

Meet the MED Board of Directors
Come and discover why the MED committee is so important to the success 
of minority businesses in the community and learn how this advocacy helps 
to provide opportunities for business development.

SBA: Small Business Brown Bag 
Find out what SBA-sponsored and SBA-funded resources are available to counsel and train small business owners in all areas of small business management (including business planning). Learn specifically what it takes to obtain a small business loan and how to access SBA financing sources.  Discover how the SBA’s certification and minority programs can enable your small business to tap into federal government contracting opportunities.
