Aloft Asheville Downtown presents $10,000 to Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue

Aloft Asheville Downtown announced today that it is donating $10,000 to local non-profit Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue (CAAR). Aloft was awarded a $5,000 grant to donate to the local charity of its choice by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide as the recipient of its 2016 Starwood Cares for the Community Hotel Volunteer Award for the North American region.

From February into September, the Canton branch of the Haywood County Public Library hosts gardening classes enriched by the “Giving Garden” located behind the library. Great Smoky Mountains hosts Music in the American Wild

Great Smoky Mountains National Park invites the public to celebrate the National Park Service Centennial with Music in the American Wild for two live performances of music from eleven composers and seven performers, all affiliated with Eastman School of Music in upstate New York. The group is traveling to various National Parks in the country and will play two concerts in the park on June 14 and June 15.
