Lake Junaluska announces Summer Shindig

A volleyball game will kick off the festivities at 2 p.m. Following the game, visitors can enjoy the Darren Nicholson Band between 3 to 5 p.m. near the volleyball court. Take advantage of discounted boat rentals and free pool admission between 4 to 6 p.m., and play free rounds of mini golf, tennis and shuffle board with family and friends. The Lake Junaluska Soda Shop will be open for ice cream, soda and other refreshments.

Lake Junaluska Summer Shindig

Lake Junaluska, N.C. – Everyone is invited to celebrate summer at the Lake Junaluska Summer Shindig on Sunday, June 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lake Junaluska Aquatic and Recreation Center.

A volleyball game will kick off the festivities at 2 p.m. Following the game, visitors can enjoy the Darren Nicholson Band between 3 to 5 p.m. near the volleyball court. “The Summer Shindig is the kickoff to the summer season at Lake Junaluksa,” said Rachel Watkins, executive assistant at Lake Junaluska. “We are thrilled to welcome our guests, residents, and the wider community for another fun-filled season.”
