Park Ridge Health Foundation hosts ‘Experience Scotland’ gala May 14

Park Ridge Health Foundation’s annual “Experience Scotland” gala this year will held pay for “a transformation” of the hospital’s second-floor Behavioral Services, which includes “a full range of women’s programs for inpatient psychiatric treatment.” Here are full details on the Thursday, May 14, event, which will be held at Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain:

Park Ridge Health Presents “Experience Scotland” Gala

Hendersonville, N.C. (April 30, 2015) – The Park Ridge Health Foundation invites the community to “Experience Scotland” at its 2015 Annual Gala. This year’s Park Ridge Health Foundation Gala will take place on Thursday, May 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain.

This year’s Scottish setting will transport guests to the Gaelic traditions and wonders of Scotland. Guests will enjoy a variety of interactive stations and fabulous food, along with, silent and live auction surprises.

The program will feature a presentation of the Dr. P.J. Moore, Jr. & Dr. Arthur A. Pearson Award of Excellence to an outstanding organization of the local community. This year’s award recipients are Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and Judicial District 29B District Attorney’s Office. Henderson County Sheriff Charles McDonald and District Attorney Greg Newman will be at the event to accept the award.

The proceeds of this year’s Gala ticket sales will help fund a transformation to the Hospitals second floor Behavioral Health services. Our behavioral health services include a full range of women’s programs for inpatient psychiatric treatment. We also have a geriatrics and med-psyche program designed to address the behavioral care needs and the physical and psychiatric needs of adults ages 65 and older, and is the only such program in WNC.

Various sponsorship levels are available for the “Experience Scotland” Gala for those interested in showcasing their business and generosity to health and wellness in our community.
