Pardee Hospital Foundation offers raffle opportunity and hosts Flat Rock Playhouse Studio 52 at upcoming Annual Gala event June 11

PRESS RELEASE:

The Pardee Hospital Foundation announced today two additions to their upcoming Annual Gala: A Black Tie Affair. The Foundation will have a raffle ticket opportunity for a trip valued at $4,000 and will be showcasing a special performance by Flat Rock Playhouse Studio 52 students during the evening. A total of 225 raffle tickets will be available for an all-inclusive 7-day cruise to Bermuda. Each ticket costs $100 and can be purchased in advance of the Gala. Individuals do not have to attend the Gala to win. There are no limits on how many raffle tickets can be purchased and winners can “trade” the cruise package for a credit of $4,000 for any trip of their choosing through AAA Vacations. The winner will be notified by email and phone the following day. Individuals can purchase raffle tickets and review trip details at pardeegala.org.

The funds raised at the each Annual Gala are designated towards improving a particular area of Pardee Hospital. This year, the Foundation’s goal is to raise at least $100,000 for the new Comprehensive Cancer Center. The raffle is an opportunity to increase overall funds raised and to boost patron experience. “We are thrilled to be raffling off another trip at this year’s Gala,” said Kimerly Hinkelman, Pardee Hospital Foundation Executive Director.  “This year’s trip to Bermuda is sure to please any traveler who wants to relax on pink sandy beaches and enjoy the warm ocean breeze. For those who are not thrilled by the sound of Bermuda, they can use the trip’s value of $4,000 towards another trip of their choice through AAA Vacations.”

In addition to the raffle ticket offering, the Pardee Foundation is also pleased to announce that Flat Rock Playhouse Studio 52 students will be entertaining attendees with a scene from the recently sold out production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. “Pardee Hospital has always been a longtime supporter of Flat Rock Playhouse, through the sponsorship of our Rock and Roll initiative as well as by being a consistent Executive Producer of our mainstage productions,” said Lisa K. Bryant, Artistic Director for Flat Rock Playhouse. “Inviting our Studio 52 students to perform at the Pardee Foundation Gala is just another example of their generosity and continued support and belief in the educational mission of Flat Rock Playhouse.” The students will perform at the Annual Gala to be held June 11 at the Technology Building at Blue Ridge Community College. Tickets for the event are available at pardeegala.org.
