ABCCM to host virtual Honor a Veteran event

Press release from Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry:

ABCCM is pleased to announce our new Honor A Veteran™ virtual event for Veteran’s Day 2020. While families are remembering the important Veterans in their own lives, needed funds will be raised to help restore the lives of many Veterans with training, a job with a living wage – a new direction in life.

By selecting a donation amount, or care package from $20 to $500, families and friends of Veterans across our nation and history will have the opportunity to place the name, rank, branch of service, photo and short biography of their Veterans on the ABCCM virtual Veteran Honor Wall™.

Veterans placed on the ABCCM virtual Veteran Honor Wall™ will be permanently displayed online, searchable by name, to be presented at events and locations across North Carolina. The Honorary Dollars™ will support the many Veteran Services provided through our VSC  https://www.abccm-vsc.org and VRQ https://www.abccm.org/veterans-restoration-quarters  Ministries.

Between now and Veteran’s Day November 11, ABCCM will be reaching out to families and friends of Veterans across Western North Carolina and the nation to go to ABCCM.org/honorveterans and Honor A Veteran™ in their life with a donation to help Veterans in need today.

The virtual Veteran Honor Wall™ will be unveiled live and livestream at the ABCCM VRQ (Veterans Restoration Quarters) among Veterans from all branches of service on Veteran’s Day at 11a.m. (the 102th anniversary of the end of WWI).
