The city of Asheville’s failure to properly monitor, surpervise and protect the public by having the crosswalk re-painted post road repaving in a timely manner is reprehensible. Where is the accountability? It’s been 4 days since this tragic event and it still hasn’t been re-striped, yet pedestrian crossing signs remain in place for motorists. When was the repaving completed and what does it take for the city to take action on this?
