Angel Medical Center staff provide health fair to Macon County teachers

Press release

From Angel Medical Center:

As teachers scrambled to prepare their classes for the beginning of school, AMC provided a brief health fair for them. AMC staff, Kim Watkins, RN, Paula Alter, Director of Business Development, and Jennifer Hollifield, Director of Volunteers, visited East Franklin School, Mountain View Intermediate School, Franklin High School, and Macon Middle School and offered blood glucose checks and blood pressure checks. Approximately, 125 school staff took advantage of the free health screening. All Macon County School Staff received fanny packs filled with emergency supplies, such as Band-Aids, hand sanitizer, alcohol swabs, a whistle, gloves, etc. What a great partnership between Macon County Schools and AMC.
