Press release from the Asheville Police Department:
The Asheville Police Department is requesting assistance to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at the Oakley Food Center (764 Fairview Road) on June 15, 2018. The suspect is described as a black male, 6′-6’5″ tall, with black dreadlocks. The suspect was seen getting into a silver vehicle, possibly a Honda or Acura.
The robbery occurred on Friday, June 15, at approximately 11:19 a.m. During the robbery, the suspect assaulted the clerk. The clerk suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.
