APD seeks assistance in ongoing investigation into incident at West Asheville Library

News release from Asheville Police Department:

Michael Solomon Brocenos (09/11/1989) and  Tyler Byrne Hackett Kelly (10/20/1990) have turned themselves in on Ethnic Intimidation charges.

Brocenos was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility on August 7 and released under a $2,000 unsecured bond issued by a magistrate.

Kelly was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility on July 23 and released under a Written Promise to Appear issued by the magistrate.

Detectives are continuing their investigation, and if anyone has information about this incident, you are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110. If you want to share information anonymously, you can text TIP2APD to 847411 or use the TIP2APD smartphone app.
