APD seeks public help in hit and run crash that killed bicyclist two years ago

Press Release from the Asheville Police Department:

This week marks the second year of an ongoing investigation into a hit and run collision that remains unsolved. The Asheville Police is encouraging anyone with any information on the case to come forward.
The crash occurred around 1:54 a.m. on Sept. 26, 2021, on Hendersonville Road between Cedarcliff Road and Fairview Street. The driver of a Honda Civic struck cyclist Joe Marsh, 46, leaving him in critical condition. The driver then fled the scene.
Less than a week later, Marsh sadly succumbed to his injuries.
APD detectives and traffic safety unit officers conducted an investigation and need the public’s help in identifying the driver of the Honda Civic, a 2009-2011 model, which may have damage to the front right of the car.
