From the Asheville Police Department:
On August 2, 2013 an accidental shooting occurred in Livingston Street Apartments. This unfortunate and sad event took the life of Derrick Keith Bomar aka “Weezy.” The investigation has revealed that the shooting was accidental but, there are still witnesses that have not been located and interviewed by the APD investigators.
