Western Carolina Rescue Ministries (WCRM) is pleased to announce its continued collaboration with Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers (AMCHC) to help provide the at-risk population with necessary resources (ie: food, shelter, clothing, medical care, etc.).
In particular, AMCHC will be offering FREE COVID-19 testing on Wednesday and Friday mornings at Western Carolina Rescue Ministries (225 Patton Avenue, Asheville) from 10:30am-2:00pm. The primary goal is to offer COVID-19 testing to those who may not have the resources to acquire this testing elsewhere. The testing began approximately 2 weeks ago and has already tested over 75 individuals. It is our intention to continue to offer this service until no longer necessary. COVID-19 testing is free to anyone who is uninsured and results are typically given within 3-5 days.
