Asheville Chamber hosts WomanUP workshop Aug. 22

Press release from the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce:

As powerful business women and entrepreneurs, we strive to generate value and positive change wherever we are. This work demands resilience and fosters our drive to fuel meaningful conversations. In this interactive workshop, led by Cheri Torres, author of the book Conversations Worth Having, we will engage you in fostering conversations worth having through real-life stories and practical activities.

You’ll leave with two simple practices to use with family, friends and colleagues to intentionally transform conversations in ways that enhance well-being, reinforce resilience, and fuel individual and organizational success.

Consider bringing your whole work group to this WomanUP workshop to give your team tools for transforming your work relationships.

Join us for a conversation worth having! The event takes place Thursday, Aug. 22, from 8-10:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville.
