News release from Asheville Police Department:
Asheville Police arrested two people looting a flood-affected business in east Asheville late Sunday night, and seek another person involved in the crime.
Officers responded to an Azalea Road business around 10:20 p.m. on December 15th to investigate a break-in. Upon arrival, they quickly located Samantha Diane Dockery (09/13/1993) and Aaron Scott Cavener (12/03/1979) and they were taken into custody without incident. Through investigation, officers identified a third suspect and obtained warrants for Nicholas Walker Jones (07/29/1986), who remains at large. Jones is described as a white male, 38 years old, 6’2”, 215 pounds, bald with blue eyes. Tattoos include a cross on his right arm, a lion on his left shoulder, and a lion on his chest. His last known address is in Black Mountain.
Dockery, Cavener, and Jones were all charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering, and Trespass/Enter Premises During Emergency.
Dockery and Cavener were both booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under $5,000 (or $500 to a bondsman) secured bonds issued by a magistrate.
