Asheville Police Department seeking information on assault in Biltmore Village

Press release from Asheville Police Department:

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on April 7 the Asheville Police Department responded to the area of Hendersonville Road near the I-40 interchange after receiving a report of an assault. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim who was suffering from non-life threatening injuries to include a stab wound. The victim was transported to Mission Hospital and treated for injuries.

The assault was reported to have occurred in the area of 9 Swan Street in Biltmore Village.

This incident is under further investigation by the Asheville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section (CIS). We encourage anyone with information on this incident to please contact the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110 or Buncombe County Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
