Asheville, North Carolina (June 17, 2024): Asheville Police are investigating the shooting of two people in South Asheville on Saturday night.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Shiloh Road to reports of gun discharge around 11:05 p.m. on June 15th. When officers arrived, the suspects were no longer on scene. While canvassing the area, officers located 59 shell casings and one live round. While on scene investigating, officers were notified that two victims of gunshot wounds arrived at Mission Hospital.
The two gunshot victims were treated with non-life-threatening injuries, and released.
