Asheville Ballet and Joyful Noise team up for free concerts on Oct. 3 and 4

The Joyful Noise community music and arts center (which holds classes in Weaverville, Marshall, West Asheville and South Asheville) has just named Jason DeCristofaro as its new artistic director of the Brio Concert Series. Two of DiCristofaro’s compositions, “Que Contiene Una Fantasia,” and “Moto Perpetuo for Solo Viola,” were recently set to choreography by Asheville Ballet’s artistic director Ann Dunn.

These will be performed at two free concerts, to be held Thursday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 4, 7:30 p.m. nightly, at Pack Square Park. Bring a lawn chair. Donations are appreciated.
