In anticipation of extreme weather heading into the area, the drive-through COVID-19 booster site at Biltmore Church Arden will be closed today, October 7, 2021. The site will reopen tomorrow at 10 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m.
The Pfizer booster is available at many provider locations and at the Buncombe County Health Department, located at 40 Coxe Avenue, Asheville. The COVID-19 vaccination clinic at 40 Coxe Avenue is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is free in the Sears Alley Parking Garage. Please bring your parking ticket with you inside of the building for parking validation.
There is also a COVID-19 vaccination clinic today in Barnardsville at the Barnardsville Fire Department from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. All three vaccines and the Pfizer booster will be available at this event. Incentive cards are available (while supplies last) for those receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at this mobile clinic today.
