Board of Equalization and Review – Scheduled appeal meetings

NOTICE: The Board of Equalization and Review has scheduled their appeal period.

PURPOSE OF MEETINGS: To hear, upon request, any and all taxpayers who own or control taxable property assessed for taxation in County, with respect to the valuation of such property, or the property of others, and to fulfill other duties and responsibilities as required by law.

TIME OF MEETINGS: The Board will convene for its first meeting on Friday, April 11th, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Board Room at 30 Valley St. Asheville NC, 28801. The Board will adjourn for the purpose of accepting requests for hearing at its last meeting on Friday, May 16th, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Room at 182 College Street Asheville, NC 28801

Requests for hearing must be received no later than final adjournment which is scheduled for Friday, May 16th, 2025 at 1:00 PM to the Clerk of the Board, Eric Cregger, Interim Tax Assessor.
