From a community newsletter:

Things are changing for Build It Naturally as we near the end of this year. We are changing hands, but will hopefully provide our customers with the same service and products you’ve grown to expect. We appreciate you and we hope everyone has a great holiday season! Here to explain the transition is a letter from Jennifer:

Dear friends and family of Build It Naturally:

I know how many of you have been coming to the store over the years and have enjoyed using these products in your homes and businesses. I know many of you personally and hope to continue our friendship and a professional relationship. There are some big changes on the horizon for Build It Naturally. Because I have been running the business with my mom – who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in July – and we have decided to sell the business in order to focus on her and helping her survive and thrive, we have found a new buyer for the business.

The new owner is a woman who is a contractor and builder and designer for many years, which Is necessary experience for this type of business. Her name is Dawn Bryant and she will be taking ownership of the business on January 1st, 2015 in a new location. Yes, we have loved the location on Biltmore Avenue all these past 7 years, since 2007, but she is moving to a new location and will be doing more online sales as well as in-home consultations and larger sales to contractors and commercial business. She is very capable and professional.

I have had the pleasure of cultivating a working relationship and teaching her the products for the past several months. So she understands the importance of healthy and non-toxic building materials. She will continue to mix paints and finishes and will be able to provide you with all the materials we have been selling over the years – as well as some new products, especially more wool carpet lines, countertop options and the same friendly, helpful customer service.

We will update our Facebook and website as well as sending out another newsletter with the new location. The store number will be the same: 828-254-2668. These changes will be happening in December, so the store will be closed the month of December. There is a store-wide sale the month of November – everything will be 20% off or more, so stock up while you can!

Thank you so much for all these years we’ve had together! It’s been amazing for me!

Sincerely,
Jennifer and Libby Woodruff

Last day of business at 76 Biltmore Avenue: Wednesday, Nov. 26.
