Community Engagement Market Canceled for Jan. 4
Because of the impact of confirmed cases of COVID, the Buncombe County Community Engagement indoor community market scheduled for today at the Deaverview Community Center has been canceled. The outdoor community market scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Enka Middle from 5-6:30 p.m. will continue as scheduled. The small market scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Aston Park will also continue. The January market schedule is attached.
Community Engagement markets background
The Community Engagement markets launched in 2014 as a partnership with MANNA Foodbank to offer healthy eating and nutrition, health screenings, voter registration and information, vaccinations, connections to public benefits, library services, and more.
