Buncombe County is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory and some locations in Buncombe County have the potential to see a mix of snow and ice overnight and into Saturday morning. Due to the possibility of snow, icy roads, and low temperatures, Buncombe County Libraries and Buncombe County Parks will open at noon on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024. The Buncombe County Landfill and Transfer Station will operate on a normal schedule. Stay weather ready and prepared – find important numbers and resources at buncombecounty.org/prepare.
