Buncombe county property sales of note Aug. 17 thru Sept. 14

In the month since Xpress’ last report on property transactions, several large sales have caused a splash. The largest of the period was the $3.1 million sale of 167 Weaver Boulevard to Carrols LLC. The sale seems to be a transfer from a local property investor, L. Harry Jackson, to a national restaurant group.  The property is home to the Burger King right off exit 19b on Future I-26.

Two purchases were for a whopping $2.6 million. One of those was 339 Old Lyman St, and an associated property, in the River Arts District bought by Foundation Studios LLC. The business is registered to Brent Starck, who in April led a consortium of artists in the purchase a pair of warehouses (reported by AshVegas) at the north end of the district for $2.2 million. The other was a private home and an additional lot at 150 Black Oak Drive in Beaverdam. The buy was made by the Wilburn Faassen Trust.

Millhouse Logistics purchased three adjacent properties on Hendersonville Road for a combined $1.9 million
