Buncombe County Schools announces two-hour delay for Nov. 15

Press release from Buncombe County Schools:

All Buncombe County Schools will be operating on a two-hour delay for students tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 15, due to a winter storm warning now in effect and a forecast of freezing rain and sleet in our area overnight and tomorrow morning. Also, there will be no buses on icy roads.

Please be aware that we will continue to monitor the weather and if conditions worsen, may have to further modify tomorrow’s schedule.

In the event one or more districts have to be closed tomorrow, notification will be sent to all media outlets, employees, and parents as soon as possible.
