The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, in partnership with the Metro Atlanta Chamber, announced the three non-profits that will be participating in the 2nd Annual, Mobility Live Hack-Back Invitational which will be held on September 22nd and run until October 29th.
The event is expected to draw teams of programmers from across the nation to compete for cash and prizes, while helping to give (hack) back to three of the nation’s leading non-profit organizations:

4H National Council“Georgia is not only a major center for mobility innovation, but a number of national non-profit organizations are based here too,” said Tino Mantella, TAG President/CEO. “This event promises to bring out the best in both areas and I encourage hackers in the region and around the country to participate.”
Teams will develop mobility solutions from a list of challenges provided by each of the participating non-profits. After a preliminary judging on October 23rd, selected Hack-Back finalists will present their projects on stage at the Mobility LIVE conference in Atlanta on October 28th. Judges will include representatives from the participating non-profits, mobility industry leadership, and investors.
Mobility Live Hack-Back Invitational is held in conjunction with the 3rd annual Mobility LIVE conference, which brings together key thought leaders and decision makers in the areas of mobile technology standards, strategies and innovations. Confirmed Speakers for the conference, which will be October 28th and 29th, include Glenn Lurie of AT&T Mobility, David Cummings of Atlanta Tech Village, and Chris Poelma of NCR Small Business.
