Cherokee rodeo brings thrills, spills

PRESS RELEASE:

The 4th Annual Seven Clans Rodeo comes to Cherokee Sept. 2–3, serving up a generous portion of bronco busting, bucking bulls, saddle bronco, barrel racing and all sorts of skilled competition by top-named riders.

The Southern Rodeo Association-sanctioned event will provide lots of fun for the whole family. Come see incredible rodeo skills on display as top riders compete against each other. Riders will compete in a variety of categories, including: Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Cowgirls Barrel Racing, Cowgirls Breakway Roping, and More!

When
The 2016 Seven Clans Rodeo takes place Friday 9/2 and Saturday 9/3. Gates open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm on both nights.

Where (New Location)
This year the Seven Clans Rodeo will take place at the Cherokee Expo Center located at 1505 Acquoni Rd. Cherokee, NC 28719

Ticket Prices
• General adult admission (ages 12 and up) is $13.00 in advance or $15.00 at the gate.
• Tickets for kids ages 4 to 11 are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the gate.
• Kids ages 3 and under get in for free.
How to Buy Tickets
Advance tickets for the rodeo are available for purchase in person (cash only) at Alan’s Jewelry & Pawn (at Alan’s locations in Cherokee and Asheville) and also at the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce. Rodeo tickets are also available for purchase online at showclix.com.
