The application deadline for these vacancies is Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Council consideration of appointments is scheduled for April 9, 2024, Council Meeting, unless otherwise noted.

Current opportunities exist on the following boards:
- African American Heritage Commission
- Board of Adjustment (this vacancy is for an alternate seat)
- Human Relations Commission
- Neighborhood Advisory Committee (28801 zip code representative)
- Noise Advisory Board (restaurant industry representative)
- NEW: Active Transportation Commission – a subcommittee of the Multimodal Transportation Commission (MMTC), appointed by the MMTC
- Transit Committee – a subcommittee of the Multimodal Transportation Commission (MMTC), appointed by the MMTC
