City of Asheville requests input on Nasty Branch Greenway historic signs

Press release from city of Asheville:

The City of Asheville requests input from past and current Southside residents on the Nasty Branch Greenway historic sign drafts. To see drafts of the historic signs, please click here. Input will be collected through a survey closing on February 28, 2023.

The signs will also be displayed for feedback at the Grind coffee shop through February 28, 2023. On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Transportation Department will host an event for past and current Southside residents to view the signs in person and give feedback.

Time: 9 AM – 12 PM
Location: Grind AVL – 346 Depot St, Asheville, NC 28801

Coffee and pastries will be provided for participants. Please bring old pictures from Southside to have scanned or have your photo taken for possible inclusion on the signs.
