What: Pottery Party
When: 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, and Friday, March 15
Where: Clayspace Co-op in the Wedge, 119 Roberts St., AshevilleAsheville ceramic artist Kristin Schoonover will host a two-night pottery party 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, March 15, both at her studio in the Clayspace Co-op in Asheville’s historic River Arts District. The first night, participants will carve or stamp their own designs into pre-thrown forms; the second night will be for painting and glazing.
The cost is $40 per person to make two items. Choices include mugs, kid cups, wine cups, small bowls and small pet dishes. Upgraded packages are available to make larger items. No experience is necessary. Groups are welcome to schedule private parties.
