ConAgra to Present Check to MANNA FoodBank to Fight Childhood Hunger During Hunger Action Month
ASHEVILLE, NC: September 16, 2014. ConAgra Foods is committed to ending child hunger. Through the Child Hunger Ends Here program, for every code entered from participating ConAgra Foods products, the monetary equivalent of one meal – up to one million meals – will be donated to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. Locally, that donation goes to MANNA FoodBank.
For each specially coded grocery product, the equivalent of one meal was donated to end hunger. This promotion, carried out locally through Ingles Markets, has translated into $5,000 that will be donated to MANNA FoodBank.
