Dancing Bear Toys introduces a lending library of toys for teachers

Press release Dancing Bear Toys:

Dancing Bear Toys has launched a free lending library for educational use. Teachers can choose from over twenty educational toys for grades K-12. Every toy is aligned with Common Core standards. When teachers return the toy at the end of their two-week checkout period, they receive a 20% discount on any toy for their classroom.

“We try to be a resource for the community, not just a retail store,” says Marylee Sumeriski, marketing specialist at Dancing Bear Toys. “We want to support teachers however we can. It’s also a great way to get hands-on feedback about our toys.”

The lending library is currently only available at Dancing Bear’s Asheville location (518 Kenilworth Road), but will be expanding to Hendersonville in the fall. Librarians, play therapists, and other medical professionals are welcome to participate.

Dancing Bear Toys will raffle off one $20 gift card per semester to parents who pass the word to their child’s teacher. For more information and a list of available toys, visit www.dbtintheschools.wordpress.com

Dancing Bear Toys is a family-owned toy store with locations in Asheville and Hendersonville.
