Diamond Brand kicks off benefit for WNC Alliance

ARDEN, N.C- On Saturday, June 9th at 10 a.m., Diamond Brand Outdoors will kick off its annual Patagonia Footwear Advocate Program to benefit the Western North Carolina Alliance. The program will run from June 9th-25th and a $10 donation will be made to WNCA for each pair of Patagonia footwearsold during that window.

Western North Carolina Alliance is a grassroots environmental organization that has focused on the conservation of the natural resources of Western North Carolina for nearly 30 years. Recent WNCA initiatives include, promotion of livable mountain communities, protection of the region’s water supply, and encouragement of citizen involvement in public land protection.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with Patagonia to give back to an organization that values so highly the natural heritage of our region”, says Diamond Brand Marketing Manager, Sarah Merrell. “We care deeply about maintaining the region’s abundant natural resources since Western North Carolina has been home to our company for nearly half a century.”
