The Western North Carolina Regional Air Quality Agency Board of Directors will consider an application for Duke Energy to replace its existing coal-fired operation in Arden with a natural gas-fired operation.
The meeting takes place on Monday, Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. at Buncombe County’s Planning and Development Board Room at 30 Valley St.
