Foothills Deli & Butchery has announced the return of its “Butcher’s Table” series for 2015, beginning on April 16 with a special dinner at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain. The event is part of Pisgah Brewing’s 10 year anniversary celebration, and will feature a locally-sourced, five-course meal prepared by Foothills butcher Tyler Cook and Chef Trevon Dunn, along with Pisgah beer offerings.

The Butcher’s Table series, which was launched by Foothills Farm and Butchery last summer, showcases in-house and guest butchers and chefs from around Western North Carolina. Going “way off menu,” Foothills will serve up specially prepared, “meat-centric” meals throughout the summer, partnering with various local businesses and breweries for each event.

The April 16 event at Pisgah will feature such dishes as “Butcher’s Choice house charcuterie and smokehouse selections, whole pork Porchetta with roasted new potatoes, and White Bean hushpuppies stuffed with Tunisian lamb” over the course of the evening.

Further information on the event, ticket prices and sales, and future Butcher’s Table events can be found at the Foothills Local Meats Facebook page or in the press release below:
