Police seeking help locating burglar who broke into sleeping woman’s apartment in October

Press release from Asheville Police Department:

Asheville, NC (January 5, 2021): Evidence collected by Asheville Police Department’s patrol officers led to Austin Keith Geddings of Manning, South Carolina being charged with Felony First Degree Burglary, Felony Breaking and/or Entering, and two counts of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering. Back in October of 2021 Gedding’s broke into a woman’s apartment located in Kenilworth while she was sleeping, then stole several items sometime before she woke up that next morning, police say.

The Asheville Police department is asking for the public’s help in locating Geddings, who is described as a white male, 24 yoa, 5’9″, 160 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a skull on his right forearm.
