  • Background: The Home Depot Foundation and our partners are on the ground helping communities in crisis after Hurricane Helene. Earlier this week, the Foundation announced a $2 million commitmentto Hurricane Helene relief. This incremental funding on top of our annual disaster grants allows our national nonprofit partners and local organizations to respond immediately and directly in communities with the greatest need. Several of our partners, including Operation Blessing and World Central Kitchen, have been on the ground in the Asheville area since last week helping distribute meals and supplies, remove debris and clear roadways.
