WHAT: Free Stroke Screening Event
WHO: Mission Health and Bryson City Senior Center
WHEN: Thursday, March 28, from 8 a.m. – noon
WHERE: Bryson City Senior Center 129 Brendle Street
Bryson City, NC 28713Mission Health will provide free stroke screenings that will include blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose checks, a body mass index assessment, and individual health counseling. To register, call: 828-213-9961.
A total of six stroke screenings will be held throughout the region: March 28: Bryson City Senior Center, 8:00 a.m. – noon
April 19: Leicester Community Center, 8:30 a.m. – noon
April 25: Macon County Health Department, 8 a.m. –noon
May 20: Jackson County Department of Aging, 8 a.m. – noon
May 23: Harvest House, 8 a.m. – noon
June 1: Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
