French Broad Co-op to host expansion meeting Sunday

From French Broad Co-op:

Starts at 3pm sharp with a brief update. 330-5:00 snacks, refreshments, 8 table discussion seeking input

The French Broad Food Coop will come together this Sunday afternoon at the Orange Peel to give community members and Co-op Owners an update on the expansion planning for the significant land around the downtown store. The meeting will start with a brief update from the Board and Staff, then switch to table discussions across a myriad of subjects including interior layout, prioritizing amenities such as bike share, commercial kitchen, and event space, Capital Campaigning, programming partners, and more. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Orange Peel will have a pay-as-you-go bar open.

Attendees are encouraged to come for the whole meeting. You may also arrive throughout the event and participate. Family and friends, old and new, all are welcome. We’ve planned this one to be fun and to include the exciting parts of expansion planning. Much of this input will be used in updating feasibility studies and to aid in the discussions about proposals. We’re listening; please come share your ideas.
