God’s Pit Crew delivers four new homes to Helene survivors in Burnsville

Press release from God’s Pit Crew:

DANVILLE, VA. (April 11, 2025) – God’s Pit Crew, a nonprofit disaster relief organization, continues its mission to support areas impacted by Hurricane Helene by delivering and setting four brand new homes in Burnsville, North Carolina.  These homes are part of the organization’s commitment to provide 25 homes throughout multiple states still recovering from the devastation caused by the historic storm.

Upon arrival, God’s Pit Crew volunteers will work to fully furnish each home, providing essential items for the families to create a safe and welcoming living environment.  In addition to furnishing the homes, volunteers will construct decking and porches to ensure each residence is fully functional and comfortable for the families and individuals receiving it.

Media members are invited to cover the delivery and placement of the four homes in Burnsville, North Carolina, on Thursday, April 17.  God’s Pit Crew representatives and home recipients will be onsite to interview and share details regarding the current Helene rebuild projects taking place.

Anyone wishing to attend, or needing more information, is asked to contact Carly Brashears, God’s Pit Crew Director, Media and Public Relations, by emailing Carly@GodsPitCrew.org or by calling (704) 277-1238.
