Grassroots Farm Team endorses Reisinger for Register of Deeds

GRASSROOTS FARM TEAM ENDORSES REISINGER FOR REGISTER OF DEEDS

The Grassroots Farm Team PAC is excited to announce its first endorsement in the 2012 election cycle, Drew Reisigner for Buncombe County Register of Deeds. Since taking office last year, he has modernized the office, saving the taxpayers money and creating a more efficient and responsive government.

Drew has repeatedly demonstrated his commitment values through his work in the Asheville community,” says Evan Degnan Director of the Farm Team. “Drew’s leadership has shown that he warrants a full term as Register of Deeds.”

In 2009 the Farm Team endorsed Gordon Smith in his race for Asheville’s City Council. The Farm Team this week has also endorsed Bill Luton for North Carolina General Assembly in House District 1.

The Grassroots Farm Team has a history of investing in and supporting successful young candidates across North Carolina. The Farm Team was founded in 2009 to help a new generation of North Carolina leaders win elections. The Farm Team supports and endorses young Democratic candidates who are committed to open and transparent government, equality of opportunity and progressive values.
