Press release from the Haw Creek Community Association:

The public is invited to help make Haw Creek bike and pedestrian friendly. Want to live in a community safer for walking and biking? Safer for children and families? Concerned about pedestrian and bike safety on Old and New Haw Creek roads? Then we need your help.

Plan to attend an Oct. 9 community meeting with Mayor Esther Manheimer and the N.C. Dept of Transportation as we discuss community improvement priorities. Please join us to chart a path for Haw Creek’s transportation future. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Evergreen Community Charter School, 50 Bell Road.
