Press release from the City of Hendersonville:
The City of Hendersonville has begun installation of sidewalk and a waterline along N. Main Street from O’Cain Court to Baldwin Avenue. Trace and Company has been retained to construct the project. Some of the work will involve construction within road travel lanes, which will result in intermittent lane closures. The project is anticipated to take five (5) months to complete, and the intermittent lane closures will be necessary throughout the duration of construction. We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to connect area residents with the Oklawaha Greenway and expand the City’s water distribution system.
We will provide updates as needed via our website at https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov. Please direct questions or concerns to Brent Detwiler, City Engineer, at (828) 697-3060 or bdetwiler@hvlnc.gov; Keith Fogo, Construction Manager, at (828) 233-3235 or kfogo@hvlnc.gov; Chris Terry, Construction Inspector, at (828) 233-3238 or jterry@hvlnc.gov; or Trace and Company at (828) 692-5664 during working hours or (828) 674-5664 after hours or on weekends.
