UPDATE: Hendersonville Police Department seeking information on a fatal hit and run

UPDATE: William Badham Lorenzana has been charged with felony hit and run in addition to the 2nd degree murder charge.

The Hendersonville Police Department is seeking information on a fatal hit and run incident that occurred on the south end of Main Street in downtown Hendersonville.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at approximately 7:17pm a vehicle traveling north on Main Street made a left turn onto Kanuga Road. The vehicle struck a pedestrian that was in the crosswalk and left the scene of the incident. The suspect vehicle is described as a silver Subaru with a hand sticker displayed on the front windshield.

The victim, a female in her 60’s, was treated on scene and transported to Mission Hospital where she passed away due to her injuries.
