JB Media Institute Summer Session begins June 9

The JB Media Institute will kick off their Summer Session in Asheville next week on June 9 with in-person classes centered around marketing in the digital age.

The Institute, part of the JB Media Group—an Asheville-based online marketing company— is now in its third year, and seeks to provide “a comprehensive internet marketing training program,” with a focus on search engine optimization, effective use of social media, the principles of online advertising, and how to manage public relations in the fast-paced, interconnected internet marketing world of the 21st century, according to their webpage.

In-person classes will begin next Tuesday, with classes running every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2 – 5 pm, until July 16th.

In addition to the topics covered above, the Institute will also include training on “tools for reporting, project management strategies, task delegation, and big picture strategy development,” according the the Institute’s official press release. As part of the curriculum, students will work towards real-life online marketing plans for personal projects or companies.

Instructors for the Summer Session will include Institute founders Justin Belleme and Sarah Benoit, in addition to other marketing professionals with JB Media and outside companies. Students work closely with instructors to fine-tune their marketing plans, based on the needs of their company or project.
