Announcement from Asheville Humane Society:
Amy Mills, a nationally-recognized expert on the human-animal bond, will speak about the transformative impact animals can have on the lives of people and families facing challenges and crises. She will discuss new strategies that animal welfare organizations are utilizing to keep people and their animals safe, healthy, and thriving.
You will be moved by touching stories of the love between people and animals and how they can make one another’s life worth living.
You will hear about Asheville Humane Society’s remarkable new programs that are saving the lives of animals in the most under-served neighborhoods in Asheville.
The event will be Tuesday, Oct. 11, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park, 43 Town Square.
