Our goal is to create one easy place for people to shop, support, and sustain Asheville area and Buncombe County businesses from afar.

What is Love Asheville from Afar?

This project is designed to help Asheville area and Buncombe County businesses connect with supporters near and far by creating a centralized online space where people can:

  • Shop local products in online stores
  • Purchase gift cards
  • Make direct donations (e.g. GoFundMe or an initiative that best
    supports you)

Who can participate?

Buncombe County businesses, artists, and makers that offer one or more of the following:

  • An online store/retail presence
  • Ability to ship local products and/or gift cards (physical or electronic)
  • Fundraisers for operations, staff wages, and/or reconstruction

Even if you don’t currently have an e-commerce option, we hope that you fill out the form with any future plans or barriers so that we can explore ways to help.

How to join:

To request a business listing on the Love Asheville from Afar page, please fill out this submission form with your business information. The form requests a short business description, up to five images to attach to your business profile (product photos preferred), and links to your online retail, direct funding opportunities, and social media accounts.
