Kiddie Academy of Asheville to host a dance party

Press release from Kiddie Academy of Asheville:

WHAT: Kiddie Academy, a leader in early educational child care, will host its inaugural DanceParty! event on Saturday, Feb. 27 starting at 11 a.m. Kiddie Academy of Asheville invites local children and their families to join this free party and dance the winter away in celebration of Kiddie Academy’s 35th birthday.

During the event, Kiddie Academy of Asheville will leverage the Kiddie
Academy Music & More program to teach different dances to event attendees, young and old. Dancers will choose one of three music genres with coordinating, age-appropriate choreography. The event will culminate in an energetic and exciting showcase of everyone’s newly-learned dance moves.

“Music is a powerful stimulant that affects children in many different
ways,” said Jerome Lorenz, Franchise Owner of Kiddie Academy of Asheville. “Studies show that being exposed to music in an early learning setting can help children develop their reading and speech skills, among other great developmental benefits. We really look forward to bringing our community together through music and dance in a fun, healthy and educational way.”
