Would you like to make a difference in the lives of older adults living in long-term care facilities? The Ombudsman Program with Land of Sky Regional Council Area Agency on Aging is looking for new Community Advisory Committee volunteers. Community Advisory Committee volunteers advocate for residents living in long-term care facilities by ensuring that Resident Rights are being followed. Volunteers will complete 36 hours of orientation to equip them with all they need to know as a volunteer. Volunteers are needed for Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania counties.
